Murphy...he gets you every time!!

Mom woke up at 0530 this morning projectile vomiting.  Needless to say, we have put travelling to GA off until tomorrow, Saturday 15 March 2014.  Mom has talked about wanting to drive down early and get a few miles in tomorrow afternoon.  We will see.  Worst case scenario, we drive down tomorrow and start hiking Sunday.  No biggie.  At least she got sick here at home rather than on the trail.  I will update more soon.

Busy, Busy, Busy......

What a busy three weeks is has been.  We have been pretty busy getting the last of our equipment, ensuring things are organized and covered on the home front for when we are gone and keeping up with school and work.  I will be putting together a by item list of our equipment to share with everyone, in case you decide you want to embark on a thru-hike or join us along the way.

Received a whole bunch of goodies from GNC today. 4 boxes of protein bars and 2 cases of protein shake packets. GNC Rocks!!!! Brian has solicited support from numerous companies, but GNC is the only one that has come through. Go out and support your local GNC!!!!
