When we flipped up to Maine and began heading south, we did so at US 60, near Buena Vista, VA. When we got back on trail in March we decided to get back on at US 60 and head north to Vermont, because there was and is still snow up north. We intended to get on at 60 and head straight north, but instead got on trail at Swift Run Gap (the mid-point of the Shenandoah National Forest) and have been working our way south to US 60. Mom and I are getting back on trail today to finish up the last remaining bit from Reeds Gap south to US 60, this will take us 4 days. We will then be back in town to resupply and I will post all of our pics and adventures of the southern half of the Shenandoah. See you all in a few days!!
